Pay: $65,000–$95,000/year (DOE)
We are a boutique, high-performing Family Law Firm in Benicia seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. We handle meaningful, often complex cases—including custody, move-aways, DVROs, discovery-heavy litigation, trial work, and international family law matters—and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional work.
This position begins in-person for training, and hybrid/remote work opportunities will be available after the training period based on performance and case needs.

Draft, prepare, and organize a wide range of family law documents, including petitions, responses, motions, RFOs, declarations, discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, trial briefs, and pretrial statements
Assist attorneys in hearing and trial preparation, including exhibits, evidence binders, witness coordination, calendaring, and research
Conduct initial client interviews and help develop factual summaries and timelines
Maintain an organized case-management and filing system (MyCase preferred)
Manage subpoenas, service of process, discovery tracking, and filing deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients to provide updates and gather information
Perform legal research as needed to support motions and trial preparation
Minimum 2+ years of California Family Law paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of:
California Family Code
California Rules of Court
Local court procedures across Bay Area counties
Discovery and trial-prep fundamentals
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (required)
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines
